Volunteers Needed for Live-Trapping

cat in cage

An essential part of neuter/spay progress is live-trapping of feral cats. Sometimes Sterile Feral volunteers must do this job or it will not get done at all. This is a huge part of the problem in densely human populated areas like trailer courts where the cat population and suffering are the greatest.

We have a few people who are willing to do this job but we really need a few more. Even 1 person will help. No experience is needed—we can train you. But experience is always a plus too! Volunteers must be willing to live trap cats in designated areas, overnight cats before and after surgery and transport cats to and from our veterinary appointments. It is not as difficult as it sounds and is more than rewarding to do this.

You will literally be saving lives. You will be helping cats in some of the most at-risk populations and you will be safe doing so. If you are interested in finding out more about this very important job, please call Sterile Feral at 309.663.4406 to leave a message or email us at: sterileferalfoundation@gmail.com. Many thanks for your consideration!
