About Us
The Sterile Feral FoundationSince 1999
Saving Animals & Finding Homes

Sterile Feral Foundation was founded in 1999 and has since neutered and spayed over 14,000 cats through our dedicated program, with our activities expanding annually.
We take pride in being the only local organization entirely focused on feline welfare, operating through our TNR program, offering low-cost neuter and spay services, and facilitating the transition of tame cats from the streets into loving homes or appropriate adoption programs when necessary.
We serve all cats, including tame housecats, barn cats, and ferals.
As an independent organization, we do not receive federal or state funding, ensuring that all donations directly benefit local cats.
Each year, we offer several fundraising events, including a dinner and shopping event in Spring or Fall, and the Peoria cat show in September. We also publish two comprehensive newsletters that provide updates on our activities and interventions for cats in our community.
